What are your favorite aspects of working at Invacare?
We have the best team, best products, and we get to help people enhance their lives with our products. 

What is your proudest moment while on the job or in the field?
Seeing the big smiles on our client’s faces in their new chairs using our electronics that have connected them to their world. It’s a total game changer when you witness someone gain that access, have the ability to socialize with family and friends, go to events, be able to attend school with their friends, go to college, and excel in their dreams. When you watch someone gain independence and their world completely opens up to them, you are never the same.

Which Invacare product has impressed you the most and why?
The Invacare®  AVIVA®  STORM RX™ power wheelchair with Ultra Low Maxx Seating, and ASL electronics. You cannot beat this combination of products in the field. Best power, best seating, and best electronics!

What is a fun fact about yourself? 
I’ve got a new bass guitar waiting to be played. My husband was in a rock band years ago, bought me a bass guitar and is patiently waiting for me to get up to speed on bass so we can jam together!

 

In your free time, what are some of your favorite hobbies or activities?   

• I love nature, from the beach to the mountains, that’s my happy place. I love adventure! One of the reasons I live in California is so I can be on the beach year-round and be skiing and hiking in the mountainswithin a few short hours. 

• I love to travel! Italy is one of my favorite pIaces on earth!

• I love concerts and all kinds of music. My husband and I planned our honeymoon to Italy to see our favorite composer (Ennio Morricone) in concert in Florence. 

• I am an animal lover! I’ve had dogs my entire life and cannot imagine life without our furry family members.

• I love playing Pickleball. I used to be a tennis player but have recently shifted more play to Pickleball with my husband.

• I’m a fan of Formula 1 racing, Concourse de Elegance car shows, and just about anything hot rod. I’m into the Overland vehicle craze right now and could probably live on the road in the right truck and RV combo.

• I also enjoy hanging with friends, entertaining, and cooking. 
   

What is your primary source of motivation for achieving success in your job and in life? 
I am a person of faith first and foremost. I’m also a highly motivated, optimistic, competitive individual who believes you can achieve anything you set your mind to provided you are willing to work hard enough to reach those goals. 

What do you hope to accomplish in the next few years?
I love what I do and plan to continue on this path until I retire. Helping others achieve independence is a passion of mine that I will forever be tied to in some fashion or another.

Do you have any pets? 
Both of my pups have passed on, Bowie being the most recent. I’m happy to mention them because I am a huge animal lover, it is part of who I am. I will have more pups this year but taking a break to grieve the loss and plan for the right addition later this year.

What are some of your favorite TV shows and movies to watch?
I love a good Comedy Central Roast. I also tend to gravitate toward old Carol Burnett shows and comedians from that era to lighten the mood. I also binge watch travel shows, real estate shows, cooking shows, and I am about to start The Sopranos saga for the first time. My favorite movies are Green Book, Change-Up, and Ford v Ferrari.
